What Volinko does
One real US phone number you can use from anywhere over WiFi or data. Call US and Canada, receive SMS, and manage your line — voicemail, forwarding, blocked numbers, and 2FA included.
HD Voice Calls
Call and receive calls with any US or Canada number in clear HD audio. Calling is limited to US and Canada destinations.
Receive SMS
Receive text messages, including verification codes. SMS only — no MMS. Whether any given code is delivered is decided by the sender, so we can't guarantee delivery.
Voicemail
Missed a call? Callers can leave a voicemail and you can listen back in the app anytime.
Use It From Abroad
Your US number stays active and reachable while you're overseas, over WiFi or mobile data. Calling destinations are still US and Canada only.
Call Forwarding, Blocking & 2FA
Forward calls to another number, block unwanted callers, and protect your account with two-factor authentication.
Card Payments via Stripe
Billing is $4.99/month by credit or debit card, securely processed by Stripe. Card only for now — no Alipay, WeChat Pay, or Apple Pay.
MMS
Picture and group messaging are not supported — SMS only.
Multiple numbers
One number per account. No 2/5/10-number bundles.
Number selection / vanity / VIP
You can't pick, search, or buy premium or vanity numbers.
API access
There is no developer API in the beta.
Port-in / port-out
You can't bring an existing number in or move your Volinko number out.
International calling
Calling is limited to US and Canada destinations only.
Guaranteed code delivery
You can receive SMS, but verification-code delivery is decided by the sender and isn't guaranteed.
911 / E911
Volinko does not support emergency (911/E911) calling and is not a replacement for traditional phone service.
Travelers & Expats
Keep a US number active while overseas. Stay reachable and receive SMS over WiFi or data, without a US SIM.
Working Across Borders
Present a US number to US and Canada contacts and keep it separate from your local line.
International Students
Get a US number for school, work, and account sign-ups, and receive SMS verification codes.
Second Line
A dedicated US number for calls and texts you'd rather keep off your primary phone.
